About this file

This is a Questions and Answers amendment to a Combined Synopsis Solicitation issued by the United States Department of the Interior, Interior Business Center. Amendment 3 to solicitation 140D0426Q0436 provides responses to two contractor inquiries regarding existing automation equipment specifications.

The first question addressed the barcode system currently in use. The government confirmed that PerkinElmer installed and initially configured the barcode system in 2015, which was subsequently reconfigured by Wako Automation in 2016 to integrate with Yokogawa CV7000 equipment. The second question requested dimensional drawings and measurements for the existing automation setup. The government provided specific measurements for the robotic mounting table (31 11/16 inches in height by 31 1/2 inches in length by 27 1/2 inches in width) and the three auxiliary plate hotels (19 11/16 inches in height by 5 5/16 inches in length by 6 1/8 inches in width), while noting that technical drawings are unavailable but photographs with measuring tape scales are included with the amendment. Detailed specifications for the barcode scanner were also provided, identifying the equipment as a SICK CLV622-1000 model with part number 1041794 and serial number 14320190, along with technical specifications including maximum current of 700 mA, maximum power of 1.5 mW, and wavelength of 655 nm.
