Does the contractor have to bid this part my company is out of state and can’t be there in 4 hours? | The requirment for contractors to be able to respond to an emergency within 4 hours is a mandatory requirement, and any contractor that cannot meet this requirement will not be determined technically capable of meeting this requirement. |

| 3 | In the SOW it states that: Emergency Tree Removal (Time and Materials) - Contractor shall respond to an emergency within Four (4) hours of COR notifying contractor. Including nights, weekends, and Holidays. All wood, Debris, and root ball (If tree has up rooted) must be removed and hauled off NPS property. Contractor is responsible for their own traffic control. (Emergency will be identified by the COR). Our offices are set up about 6.5 hours from Washington DC and crews could be onsite in an emergency event within 12-24 hours. The contractor will be responsible for the removal of debris under this requirement as instructed by the Government and will be compensated for work completed on per cubic yard of debris removal basis. |

Debris removal will occur inaccordance with the statement of work for this requirment up to the not exceed threshold established under the corresponding contract line item number. |

If unique or unusual equipment is required to be deployed in response to an assignment under Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) 00003 any associated quoted costs will be reviewed by the Government for reasonableness before work commences. |
