1. Please confirm storage parameters for video storage. (Duration, Images per second, on-motion recording, resolution of recorded video)
Answer: 30 days storage. Size NVR's accordingly. 10 - 15 mega pixel of resolution of recorded video.
2. Please advise the number of viewing stations to be provided by the contractor, to include number of PC’s, monitors/sizes.
Answer: 5 locations. Security bldg 26 - 2 qty 55" monitors and PC, Mr. Fox bldg 1 - qty 55" monitors and PC , Mrs Wendell bldg 124 - 35" monitor and PC, Mrs. Burkhart 55" monitor and
PC, Mr Ferrell requested one. Doesn't currently have one. Bldg 121 55" monitor and PC . May need another both dorms will have over 100 cameras.
3. Please confirm that Enterprise licensing is required for this project.
Answer: Not sure what is meant by enterprise licensing, but we do want to own the rights to the licensing. And also have enough for attic stock cameras.
4. Please confirm that video analytic capabilities are required for all installed cameras.
Answer: facial recognition and analytic capability on all cameras.
5. Please confirm that surface mount conduit is required/acceptable (specifically Gym cameras) at all areas exposed and not in secure plenum/ceiling.
Answer: Surface mount conduit required on all exposed wires not in the ceiling. Gym 450 feet.
6. Please confirm plenum rated cabling at all locations is required/acceptable.
Answer: Plenum cable required
7. RFQ appears to have distributed NVR’s in each building throughout campus. Please advise if this is mandatory, or if servers would be preferred in a single location?
Answer: 3 nvr servers - bldg 83, bldg 84 and bldg 86
8. Is there a network switch brand preference/requirement?
Answer: FIS will dispose of DVR's and wipe clean and destroy hard drives according to IT requirements.
9. Please confirm owner/FIS is responsible for disposal of existing equipment.
Answer: FIS will dispose of DVR's and wipe clean and destroy hard drives according to IT requirements.
10. Is removal and disposal of all existing coaxial cable to be included in this pricing?
Answer: Removal of coax should be included.
11. Is removal and disposal of all existing cameras to be included?
Answer: Removal of all cameras with the exception of any that have memory cards. Or if we have FIS property requirements.
12. Who is responsible for patching/painting of existing walls/ceilings/etc. where existing cameras were removed?
Answer: FIS will paint any removal locations.
13. Schedule – it was mentioned that it would be desirable to have this project installed by early
August, prior to student return to campus. Should installation not be able to begin until after school is back in session, will the contractor be able to work in the campus while occupied?
Yes – The Government Point of Contact will work with the awardee contractor for all scheduling.
14. Camera Types – Can you further clarify expectations for each camera type? RFQ simply states 2.0 MP cameras – multisensor cameras have up to 4 imagers, each ranging from 3 – 8
MP.
Answer: Indoor cameras 2 MP with IR and vandal proof. 8 MP on the outdoor cameras weather proof w IR if effective. 270 degreecoverage and one facing down. 4 cameras in the housing. 180 degree cameras 8 mp with IR if effective. All with mounts with heated.
15. Please confirm there are no TERO requirements for this project.
