Following questions and answers are provided:

Q: Can you confirm that the Division 11 Section 11700 specification documentation attached to solicitation pertains to the existing system and that the provisions contained therein do not apply to the proposed replacement system other than the new system’s ability to integrate with the existing system? Correct.

Q: Are cable pathways established for all camera locations / ISP Fiber optic cables or will new pathways need to be established? This is a design build, it’s the integrators responsibility during their site visit to work out these details with the end user.

Q: Will cable need to be in conduit systems or free air / cable tray? This is a design build, it’s the integrators responsibility during their site visit to work out these details with the end user.

Q: Is plenum cable required? This is a design build, it’s the integrators responsibility during their site visit to work out these details with the end user.

Q: Will cameras and headend need to be installed side by side with existing cameras then cut over to the new headend and cameras once integration is complete? Yes.

Q: Please indicate the type of fiber connector preferred for GBICS and FOC. LC / SC /

ST? This is a design build, it’s the integrators responsibility during their site visit to work out these details with the end user.

Q: Please indicate the type of fiber optic cable required for connection between MDF/IDF/

Control Room. OS1 OS2 OM1 OM2 or OM3? This is a design build, it’s the integrators responsibility during their site visit to work out these details with the end user.

Q: Can existing CAD files or PDF drawings for floor plan, cable riser diagram, telecommunication wall spaces and rack elevations be provided for purposes of documenting installation per optional pricing, or will the pricing option need to include creating those items from scratch? We only have the blueprints for this building.

Q: What formats would be required for delivery of Optional Documentation? i.e., hard copy drawing sets, DWG files, PDF files etc. Hard copy and PDF.

Q: Can you confirm whether the 41 Vicon fixed dome cameras and 16 Vicon indoor PTZ cameras and locations described in the scope and the included maps constitute the complete number of replacement cameras required? Yes, they are correct.

Q: Do you require cut sheets for the cameras and parts and pieces of the install be submitted along with the quote? These may be submitted to allow the agency to determine responsiveness with specifications in the solicitation.
