NOTICE OF TRIBAL EMPLOYMENT RIGHTS ORDINANCE FEE

In accordance with Tribal Employment Rights Office (TERO) ordinances, all Contractors are required to be certified by the local TERO office on work performed on each of the respective Indian Reservations where services are to be carried out. To receive an application for certification and information on TERO, please write or call the respective TERO Directors listed on the enclosed directory and they will assist you.

It is the Contractor’s obligation and responsibility to ascertain and comply with any applicable laws and local conditions affecting the work to be performed under the contract. Any additional costs incurred in compliance with the above is the responsibility of the Contractor and is not reimbursable as a direct expense under the contract, i.e. fees, taxes, permits, etc. It is also the contractor’s responsibility to prepare their bid proposal accordingly to adjust for any unforeseen TERO costs.
