About this file
This is a fence specifications document issued by the Bureau of Indian Affairs Concho Agency for soil and moisture conservation purposes. The specification details requirements for Standard Barb Wire Fence (SBWF) construction, outlining three primary material components: barbed steel wire, T-posts, and fasteners.
The wire component specifies 12.5 gauge barbed steel wire with 2-point barbs spaced 4 inches apart, with a total of 160 rolls required, each 1,320 feet in length. T-posts must be 6-foot heavy-duty certified steel posts at 1.33 lb/ft with green coloring, with 3,200 posts needed for the project. Fasteners consist of galvanized steel fence T-post clips (heavy-duty grade), requiring 320 packs containing 50 clips each for a total of 16,000 clips, calculated at 5 clips per T-post. The specifications do not include pricing terms, response dates, award dates, or contract vehicle information.
