About this file
This file contains Questions and Answers (Q&A) documentation for solicitation 1333ND26QNB030094, issued by the Department of Commerce National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) for a 16 MP EUV Vacuum Flanged Camera. The document addresses clarifications regarding technical specifications and submission deadlines rather than specifying required products or services in detail.
The Q&A clarifies that while a DN160 CF (8-inch ConFlat) vacuum flange with through holes is preferred for camera mounting, tapped (threaded) holes are acceptable as an alternative. The solicitation explicitly rejects 10-inch ConFlat flanges as unsuitable for the application. The submission deadline for quotations is March 13, 2026. Additional technical specifications and requirements are referenced in supporting attachments not included in this excerpt.

1333ND26QNB030094 for 16 MP EUV Vacuum Flanged Camera Questions and Answers
Q. General Specification #2 - The camera must be mounted to a DN160 CF (8 inch ConFlat) vacuum flange, with through holes (unthreaded). Is this a must have requirement? Our 8 inch ConFlat flange is threaded because of the camera housing. Our 10- inch ConFlat flange can be either threaded or through hole.
Answer: We prefer through holes on an 8” ConFlat if it is possible, but tapped holes will also be acceptable. A 10” ConFlat in NOT acceptable for our application.
Q: Could you kindly confirm which of the two dates is the deadline for quotation submission.
Answer: the solicitation closes March 13,2026
