Questions and Responses to 1333ND24QNB150001 - NIST Gaithersburg And Boulder Campuses OSHE Fall Protection Survey

Question Response 1 Does the Government intend that each requirement is a separate CLIN and/or is each campus a separate CLIN?

Yes, separate CLIN for each campus.

2 Will the government provide the estimated number of interior spaces to be surveyed, for pricing accuracy, broken out by campus, as this is not readily available via satellite imaging such as Google Maps?

Gaithersburg – approximately 58 building/structures. We do not have the # of internal spaces to be surveyed.

Boulder – There are 29 occupied buildings on campus, plus 5 structures enclosing mechanical equipment or other infrastructure. We do not have the # of internal spaces to be surveyed.

3 Does the Government intend for a Professional Engineer to conduct on-site assessments as a key person on the survey team?

No, we just need a PE to sign off on the final report.

4 Will the Government provide access to any current fall protection plans, surveys, inspections, and testing results to facilitate both safe on-site surveys and also preparation of resulting reports which should incorporate past surveys, inspections, and testing.

No.

5 I wanted to know if any of the fall protection equipment present is known to be Suspended Access or is it all Fall Protection equipment?

For Gaithersburg – Fall protection equipment.

For Boulder – All fall protection equipment
