RFQ 1333ND24QNB680263 Amendment 5-21-24
The purpose of this amendment is to provide responses to solicitation questions received. Please see questions (Q) and answers (A) below:
Q1. We have multiple systems that can meet or exceed the Minimum Requirements in the Statement of Work. To allow end user to select the one that best meets their needs, we will submit multiple quotations in response. Is this acceptable, and if so should they be submitted separately or together?
A2. Yes, it is acceptable to submit multiple quotations in response to this solicitation, and the responses should be submitted separately.
Q2. The Statement of Work specifies a spatial resolution/working distance for optics. Is the user interested in getting only one lens, or in multiple lenses?
A2. The specifications are written as spatial resolving power and field of view because those are NIST’s performance requirements. NIST has no preference on the number of lens, so long as the stated minimum requirements are met. All lenses must meet or exceed specification 3.2 (free working distance of at least 20 mm).
