AMENDMENT I: VACUUM VESSEL WITH LIFTING SYSTEM – 1333ND20QNB680160

Q: When referring to motorized, is this an electric motor-powered unit or one that uses fossil fuels such as propane or gasoline? Is battery powered OK?

A: It shall be an electric motor with standard AC power supply (110V @60Hz).

Q: In addition to the 26 inch lift, is the lifting device required to move the upper to another location away from being in line with the vessel centerline or internals?

A: No, that is not required.

Q: What type of room or building is the lifting system to be operating in?

A: It will operate in a room with standard laboratory conditions.

Q: Is the lifting device to operate setting on the floor?

A: Yes, the lifting device will operate setting on the floor.

Q: Is the lifting device to be movable with wheels and with the load on it?

A: No, that is not required.

Q: Is the lifting unit to be something like a portable crane with a fixed boom?

A: The lifting unit doesn’t have to be portable. We require something like a screw jack style hoist that is next to the vacuum vessel.

Q: Will any of the vessel ports have items attached that may interfere with the use of a lifting device? If so, to what degree?

A: All ports will be used for regular off-the-shelve electrical/optical feedthroughs. No wobble-sticks or linear telescopic transfer arms will be mounted. A minimum of 8 inches clearance is required to mount the feedthroughs.
