About this file

This is Amendment 0001 to solicitation 1333MK25Q0015 issued by NOAA's OMAO Field Delegates office in Kansas City, MO. The amendment changes the solicitation from a set-aside to unrestricted full and open competition under FAR 52.212-2 and FAR 19.502-10, and extends the offer due date.

The underlying requirement is for repairs to sections of Ship Service Diesel Generator (SSDG) exhaust insulation for four SSDGs on the NOAA Ship Henry Bigelow, as the existing lagging is deteriorating. The period of performance is January 2-17, 2025. Work will be performed while the ship is in port at Naval Station Newport - Pier 2 in Newport, RI. Contractors must obtain base access and submit SECNAV Form 5512 forms two weeks prior to attendance. The shoreside point of contact is Kevin Lee (240-461-3996, kevin.j.lee@noaa.gov). The contract type is firm-fixed-price under Product/Service Code J020.
