About this file
This document contains questions from a vendor regarding a federal contract solicitation for boat storage in Muskegon, Michigan. The solicitation was issued by the Department of Commerce National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration seeking a facility to provide indoor secured storage space for boats without the need for lifting or hoisting from the water. Specifically, the vendor inquired about boat size and weight requirements for lifting, but was informed by the contracting office that boats would not need to be lifted from the water and the storage space should provide walled separation between boats.

1. I would like to confirm if there would be a need to hoist any boats from the water. If so, can you confirm the size and weight of your largest expectations?
The office POC confirmed that they won't need to lift/hoist any boats from the water and emphasized the need to be able to work on boats inside the building and have walled separation (secure space) from other boats/units.
