About this file
This is an Amendment 0002 Questions and Answers document related to a solicitation for Pipette and Balance Services (1333MG-25-0036) for the NOAA Hollings Marine Laboratory.
The document addresses two questions from potential bidders: 1) A clarification about service level requirements, where the agency confirms they require non-ISO service but with high/low readings for pipettes, which has been their standard practice for the past 10 years, and 2) A question about balance specifications, where the agency clarifies that only one of the 44 balances has a maximum weight capacity of 50kg.

Amendment 0002 – Questions and Answers
1. "There is a discrepancy in the amendment I have found.
#5 is it asking for Non-ISO service
#9 is asking for high/low readings per pipette. (This would fall in line with level 2 service)
We can do either one but want to see what level of service is required. "
We have asked for non-iso service and the high/low readings have been provided to us the last 10 years after our service.
2. "Are all 44 balances 50kg?"
Just one balance has the max weight of 50kg.
