About this file
This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for preventive maintenance services on Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) control systems and components at two National Weather Service locations in Vermont.
The work encompasses quarterly preventive maintenance services, supplemented by semi-annual and annual maintenance checks across two sites: the Burlington National Weather Service Weather Forecast Office (1200 Airport Drive, South Burlington, VT) and the Vermont National Guard Base Radar Data Acquisition (RDA) Site at Camp Johnson (30 Mount Mansfield Avenue, Colchester, VT). The contractor must furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and supplies to service and maintain air handlers, electronic duct heaters, condensing units, humidifier systems, heat pumps, variable air volume boxes, dampers, louvers, exhaust fans, control system sensors, transmitters, differential pressure switches, and related components. The HVAC system operates continuously 24/7/365. Contractor technicians must be Liebert manufacturer-qualified and licensed, qualified, and experienced in servicing mechanical and automated environmental control systems. All work and materials must meet or exceed industry standards and equipment manufacturer specifications. Contractor personnel must comply with OSHA requirements, provide Safety Data Sheets for materials upon request, execute lock-out tag-out procedures, sign in/out at facility reception desks, and maintain comprehensive written maintenance records documenting all work performed, pressures, temperatures, voltages, fluid levels, and test results. Site 1 equipment includes four Liebert units (two Model PX029DH1AD09B7 and two Model DSO225A units). Site 2 equipment includes three BARD units. Deficiencies identified during inspections must be corrected within five working days of government notification. The Government Point of Contact will be provided upon contract award.
