About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for Request for Quotation 1305M326Q0110 for Isotope Analysis services.
This is a recompete of a previous contract (Award Number 1305M320DNRMJ0065) and will be structured as an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. Quoters must complete the provided Pricing Schedule by filling in only the unit prices for cells highlighted in green, without adjusting the estimated quantities provided. The Total Evaluated Price will be used for evaluation purposes only and does not reflect actual future government requirements. The resulting IDIQ contract cannot exceed the maximum contract amount specified under CAR 1352.216-75. Quoters should not attempt to reduce service scope or measurements to match the maximum contract amount, as the unit price structure and estimated quantities are established for evaluation purposes, with actual orders to be placed based on government need.

Request for Quotation 1305M326Q0110 Isotope Analysis
Item Question Government Response
Is there any incumbent/recompete or this is a brand-new project? If yes, could you please provide us with their award number or even if the customer bought similar services in the past.
Yes. The previous award number was 1305M320DNRMJ0065.
The RFQ clause CAR 1352.216-75 indicates that the quote can't exceed the listed maximum contract amount. Can we submit the attached Pricing schedule as is and negotiate as necessary following your review of the Technical Proposal, should that prove successful? Otherwise, if we are to match the maximum contract amount, we would have to reduce the requested number of measurements as this is a rate-based exercise.
The Total Evaluated Price in the Pricing Schedule will be used for evaluation purposes only. The estimated quantities listed are not reflective of future Government requirements.
Quoters should not adjust the estimated quantities and should only fill out the unit prices (cells highlighted in green) within the Pricing Sheet, ensuring the information is accurate and without errors. Regardless of the Total Evaluated Price, the resulting IDIQ shall not exceed the maximum contract amount listed under CAR 1352.216-75.
