About this file

This amendment to a solicitation provides updated details for janitorial services at two National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration buildings in New Jersey. The amendment corrects the question and answer regarding the total square footage, clarifying that the total cleanable space for both buildings is currently 40,697 square feet but will decrease to 13,832 square feet for one building after two years. The original solicitation seeks janitorial services for two buildings totaling 80,000 square feet located in Sandy Hook, New Jersey, with a requirement for superior customer service, well-maintained facilities, and a comprehensive list of specifications. The proposed contract is set aside 100% for service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses with a NAICS code of 561720 and size standard of $19.5 million. Interested parties should monitor the website for release of the request for quotation and direct any questions to the specified contracting officer.

Amendment 0002 to Solicitation 1305M322QNFFM0037 is issued:

A. To correct Question & Answer #2 as follows:

Question: Should I quote the contract at 80,000 or 40,000 sq. ft?

Answer: Total square feet of both buildings is 80,000 feet. Total cleanable square footage (SF) for both buildings is 40,697 SF. B74 total cleanable SF = 26,865 SF. Lab Building cleanable SF = 13,832 SF.

After year two we will no longer occupy B74 so the required cleanable space will only be the Lab Building SF of 13,832 SF.

B. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
