About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) document for solicitation 1305M225Q0221, focusing on cooling requirements for two server rooms. The Q&A addresses three key inquiries: cooling capacity, floor plans, and electrical power consumption. Room specifications include Room 1 at 128 square feet with a 9' ceiling and Room 2 at 140 square feet with a 9' ceiling. The potential cooling capacity is estimated at 10,000-11,000 BTU units, based on a provided online BTU calculator. Respondents were asked to reference attached drawings for floor plans and proposed locations of outdoor condensing units to help estimate refrigerant line lengths and installation costs.

Q&A 1305M225Q0221

1. Please confirm the required cooling capacity, if already determined.

a. The cooling capacity should be appropriate for Room 1: 128 Square Feet 9' ceiling

Room 2: 140 square feet 9' ceiling

2. Could you provide floor plans of the server rooms along with the proposed locations for the outdoor condensing units? This information will help estimate refrigerant line lengths and installation costs. A hand-drawn sketch would be sufficient if formal drawings are not available.

a. Please see attached drawings.

3. If we are expected to determine the required cooling capacity, could you provide information on the electrical power consumption of the IT equipment in the server rooms? This would allow us to properly size the air conditioning units based on heat dissipation and overall heat gains.

a. The following BTU calculator shows right at 10,000-11,000BTU Units:
