Q&A for 1305M224Q0308
1. Will the maintenance team need to be on call 24/7 in case of emergency repairs?
a. Availability during site working hours will suffice (0800-1600 M-F)
2. Will you provide a fence to close off the area of work? In the SOW on p.g 2, paragraph 1, it says
" The area around the building and where the contractor will be working should be closed off".
a. Closed off means having a clear indication that work is being done in the area. This includes a spotter if there is ladder work, a physical presence where the work is being done, or temporary measures (we have cones on site available) to guide foot traffic around the work site. It does not mean a physical barrier needs to be in place but that there is a clear indication of work so that it does not pose a safety risk to personnel and the general public.
3. What is the period of performance? Will this be for every quarter for the next year or for the next 4 years?
a. The total POP is one year from date of award. The requirement is for quarterly services over the course of a year.
4. In the RFQ it says how the quantity is 1, does that mean I provide pricing for one entire year ( 4 quarters)? Or do I put the price for each quarter in unit price and multiply that price by 4 to be able to put it in the total price?
a. The quantity is stated as “1 JB” so pricing should be for the complete job as described in the SOW. 1 price for the entirety- i.e. quarterly service over the course of 1 year. (So yes, the price should be the full cost of the 1 year).
