About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) details the Atlantic Test Range's procurement of fifteen Rohde and Schwarz RTC1002 Digital Oscilloscopes for the Telemetry Systems Branch. The acquisition supports the Real-Time Telemetry Processing System (RTPS), which requires digital oscilloscopes to measure and confirm telemetry signals during mission operations. The specific equipment to be purchased includes fifteen RTC1000 Digital Oscilloscopes (2-channel, 50 MHz, 2GSa/s sample rate), fifteen 5-year warranty extensions, and fifteen 19" rackmount adapters, with a requirement for TAA Compliance and delivery within five weeks after receipt of order.

The oscilloscopes will be deployed in new mission control rooms to process and display data collected from aircraft and test articles, enabling Flight Test Engineers to monitor telemetry signals across an expanded 15-rack datacenter. The technical specifications include features such as Ethernet/USB connectivity, USB flash drive connector, vertical scaling from 1mv to 10V/div, and VGA TFT display, which are critical for supporting the Atlantic Test Range's mission capabilities and real-time data processing needs.

Statement of Work Rohde and Schwarz RTC1002 Oscilloscopes

1.0 Background

The Atlantic Test Range, Telemetry Branch is procuring fifteen (15) Rohde and Schwarz RTC1002 oscilloscopes and (15) rack mount kits. These oscilloscopes will be used by the Atlantic Test Range (ATR) Telemetry Systems Branch’s customers for real-time data processing to support operations inside new mission control rooms (MCRs).

2.0 Scope

The Real-Time Telemetry Processing System (RTPS) provides processing and display of data which is collected and transmitted as telemetry signals from the aircraft or other test article. RTPS receives the telemetry signals, decodes each individual measurement included in the signals received, computes additional "derived measurements' needed, and makes all measurements available for display in a Mission Control Room (MCR). The actual data displays are then selected by the Flight Test Engineers according to the requirements of the specific test being conducted. RTPS operations are conducted and data processed in a sequential collection of equipment called a stream.

3.0 Objectives/Tasks

RTPS uses digital oscilloscopes during real-time telemetry missions to measure and confirm telemetry signals. RTPS is extending mission capabilities to include the addition of a new 15 rack datacenter and will require 15 oscilloscopes to have the additional needed capability to monitor the additional telemetry signals. These capabilities are critical to the operation of the MCRs and execution of the customer mission.
