About this file

This is a Schedule of Values document prepared for the City of Clearwater, Florida, detailing the scope of work for a Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) project involving renovation and enhancement of the Eddie C. Moore Complex athletic facilities. The project encompasses comprehensive improvements to four softball fields (Fields 1-4), two multipurpose fields, and associated site infrastructure. Major construction elements include a two-story pressbox with four press boxes, public restrooms at ground level, permanent seating for 350-400 spectators on all four fields plus an additional 1,200 seats on Field 1, dugouts (approximately 80' x 10') for each field, LED sports lighting on all nine fields, and new scoreboards with broadcast capability. Additional work includes site design modifications such as demolition of the existing press box, relocation of the electrical yard, removal and replacement of fencing with sliding gates, new accessible pathways, landscape improvements with Foxtail Palms, irrigation system upgrades for multipurpose fields, storm drainage improvements, utility coordination, WiFi and PA systems for Fields 1-4, surveillance cameras, and shade structures. Specialized field improvements include 3-foot CMU walls with wall pads, netting for camera visibility, bullpens, field enlargement and regrading, and new dugouts with above-ground CMU buildings featuring metal deck roofs, restrooms, video review rooms, and general purpose power.

The document specifies that no food service will be provided on-site, with only pedestal hookups available for food trucks. Existing parking will remain unless modifications are required by code, though ADA requirements will be reviewed for potential expansion of accessible stalls and routes. The maintenance building will remain with no new work required, and temporary facilities including an official's trailer for umpires and executive restrooms for large events require no permanent infrastructure hookups. The schedule indicates that certain elements, including the pressbox, public restrooms, concessions area, locker rooms, and batting cages, contain cost line items marked for future completion, suggesting a phased approach to project delivery and budgeting.
