The purpose of this amendment is to provide Q&A received from industry.
Q1. The SOW mentioned taking the 40cy can to Landfill and back. Generally, the driver will bring a 40cy Can with him and switch it out with the full 40cy Can on site while he¿s there. That saves on driving time, diesel, etc. Will we be able to bring an empty can with us and swap the full one on site?
A1. Yes, you can bring an empty can and swap the full one on site.
Q2. SOW mentioned non recyclables in the Can. Can you let us know generally what will be in the container. Pallets, office trash, etc.?
A2. Furniture, Wood, Metal, Composite, Cubicle Parts, Parts, Office Chairs, Files, Bulletin

Boards, trash, office supplies. General Office
Materials, some refuse that is consistent with office clean out. It will not consist or restaurant or cafeteria waste, although a person could toss a bag of fast-food trash or pizza box in there walking by, should not consist of hazardous materials. There may be some small electronics, adding machines, clocks, calculators, but larger volumes of IT equipment will be handled separately.
Q3. In the event a 40 yard dumpster is not available would 30 yard dumpster be acceptable
(Many companies top out at 30yd).
A3. The requirement is to provide a 40cy dumpster. If when the dumpster is being emptied and the replacement 40-yard is not available, we can accept the use of a 30 yard no more than 4-occasions during the term of the contract, and the invoice should document and reflect that, and we would expect a cost reduction for diminished capacity. We have experience this in different locations where excessive market demand has led to shortages and USDA would rather have a 30-yard parked on site, vs a disruption in service completely. If our contractors need to dispose of cubicle panels and office desks, 30-yard dumpsters fill to quickly in volume.
Q4. Please note all reps and certs have been completed on SAM.gov. How would you like the proposal submitted?
A4. When we receive the quote, we will review the reps and certs in SAM.GOV from the lowest offeror. Your quote needs to be submitted by the date in the RFQ with all required documents.
Q5. Is there any incumbent/recompete or this is a brand-new project? If yes, could you please provide us with their award number or even if the customer bought similar services in the past.
A5. There is no incumbent. This is new requirement.
Q6. I would like to schedule a time for myself or one of my partners to visit the property to assess the scope of work.
A6. No site visit is contemplated for this requirement.

A14. 120 Tons is the Maximum tons per year-that is what we would use for comparison purposes, however we do not guarantee that tonnage, billing will be done according to actual weight.
Same with Pick-up dumps- 24 dumps per year maximum amount, not guaranteed.
Q15. Could you please confirm whether you require a 40-foot or a 40-yard dumpster? Both are mentioned throughout the documents, and I believe it should be the latter. However, I¿d like to clarify to ensure accuracy.
A15. It is 40-yard roll-on roll-off standard open top construction dumpster
Approximate Sizes: 21'11" L x 7'0" W x 7'0" H or 23'1" L x 8'3" W x 7'9" H
