RFQ Questions and Responses - Closed Easements - Property Record Searches
Q1. The solicitation notice references an attached Statement of Work (SOW) and/or Section V. Description of Services. Could you please provide this attachment, or provide additional information on where to locate this attachment.
A1. See attachment for SOW.
Q2. I had a couple questions on solicitation number 12FPC221Q0050. We are not familiar with the United States Attorney General’s list of approved companies. We are familiar with a similar list for Surety Bonding Companies but such a requirement seems to be in excess of the 2016 guidelines for title related to Federal Land Acquisition. Can you confirm the requirement for the USAG’s list of approved companies? And can you confirm how we go about getting on said list?
A2. The solicitation and SOW has been updated to address concern.
The statement has been updated to read: “Title insurers authorized by state law to conduct business in the jurisdiction where the subject land is located and who hold membership in the American Land Title Association (ALTA) may be considered competent to examine title.”
Q3. I have a question about the Combined Synopsis/Solicitation posted under solicitation number 12FPC221Q0050.
I am hoping to find out if there is an incumbent contractor currently performing these services, if similar services have been performed in the past, or if this is a new requirement.
If this is a follow-on requirement, could you please provide the previous contract or task order number?”
A3. This is a new requirement; there is no incumbent contractor currently performing these services.
