| Question No. | Question | Government Response |
It sounds like the probes are not refurbished units. So, all you want is them to be greased and reinstalled? | See Solicitation Amendment 0001, Section C - 4.3,
I did not read anything about the hydraulic power packs. Is the vendor to provide those? | See Solicitation Amendment 0001, Section C - 4.3,
Can the 36” x 18” x 18” Underbody box be installed on the passenger side under the bed? There is no room to install it on the underside of the drivers side because of the probe. If we install it on the drives side above the bed per the contract, it will interfere with the probe trays. You wont be able to lower the door all the way down to access the power pack. | See Solicitation Amendment 0001, Section C - 5.13, and Figure 9 changed.
I made a phone call already this morning to Elite Truck, who is the main dealer for Westin. As of right now they can get me Qty 4 of the 80-TB400-72-BD-BT, but I know I have had issues getting these boxes in the past. They could only get me one of the 80-TBS200-72. Just want to make a note of this because it caused issues/delays before on a contract with our local USDA. I think they were on indefinite back order at the time. | Noted
I was considering question 3 (email below) over the weekend and another possibility would be to use a different style of probe tube holders on the drivers’ side. This would be an alternative style instead of the angle iron brackets – instead we would use the “saddle” style brackets for soil tube holders. Please see attached photo below for an example. | See Solicitation Amendment 0001, Section C - 5.13, and Figure 9 changed.
