Answer: Removal of radiators is not in scope.
The Government will remove the radiator in room
2020. All other radiators will remain in place.
See keynote 17 on sheet A-01.
Question: For rooms 3025 and 3025A, note 14 calls for a furred-out wall over the existing wall.
There are existing electrical outlets and electrical strips on this wall. Will we need to demo the existing outlets and move them into the furred wall?
Answer: Government will remove surface mounted outlets and raceway and replace onto new wall or validate that outlets to remain are non-function and not connected. See revised A-02. Gov¿t will confirm outlets integrated in metal divider wall are non-functional before project commences.
Question: In some of the rooms there are existing electrical outlets installed in the floor base.
Please advise on how to address these outlets where the requirement is to remove and reinstall floor base.
Answer: Maintain existing outlets. Cut base around outlet and replace with outlet cover. See revised A-05
Question: For room 2020, note 10 calls to scrap and remove bubbling drywall and patch. During the site walk this scope was called into question.
Please advise if this is still part of the scope of work, or if it no longer applies.
Answer: This no longer applies. Government will patch as required. Contractor to paint with rest of wall. See revised A-01.

Question: In Room 2020, keynote 9, it states to install new furred wall up to concrete beam and modify ceiling grid and tiles as required. During the site walk, it was stated the new wall is to be installed up to the existing ceiling only and not beyond. The existing ceiling will not require adjustment for the new furred wall. Please confirm.
Answer: New sound wall will only go up to ceiling grid. Furring is optional. Contractor to place rigid insulation between wall and concrete beam to increase sound deadening. See revised A-01.
