INFORMATION NEEDED: Please provide engineering details/drawings of the project for the two new boilers for domestic hot water. What is the temperature set point and GPM requirements?

Please provide engineering details/drawings for the two heat exchangers. Will the two heat exchanger loops require pumps? Please provide detail drawings and engineering data.

Response:

There is no specific heat exchanger selected by an engineer. The Contractor needs to propose an appropriate replacement for the existing heat exchangers. The existing boilers include the second loop within the boiler. This contract requires an external heat exchanger but the operating parameters are to match the existing system. The existing system has external pumps which do not need to be replaced. The existing domestic hot water booster pump has a maximum rating of 33 gallons per minute.
