B.5.1. Nursery Schedule Changes

The Coeur d’Alene Nursery has a yearly Lift and Pack contract as well as a yearly Container Pack contract. During these contracts the Schedule will be adjusted to decrease some of the janitorial services normally provided.

During the performance of the Lift and Pack contract, the Main Office lunchroom and the Pack Shed restrooms shall not be cleaned by the janitorial staff. Those areas are the responsibility of the Government during performance of the Lift and Pack contract. If all seedlings are not able to be lifted out of the growing fields in November, the Government will have another short Lift and Pack contract in March of the next year. The same guidelines will be followed during the Nursery’s Lift and Pack contract whether in November and/or March.

During performance of the Nursery’s Lift and Pack contract, the Janitorial Contractor shall vacuum the Main Office area daily.

The start of the Coeur d’Alene Nursery’s Container Pack contract historically takes place in December for a period of approximately 3 weeks. During performance of the Nursery’s Container Pack contract, the Greenhouse restrooms shall not be cleaned by the janitorial staff. Those areas are the responsibility of the Government during the performance of the Container Pack contract. During performance of the Nursery’s Container Pack contract, the Greenhouse’s Break Room and office will remain on the normal cleaning schedule.
