About this file
This document is an Amendment (0001) to Solicitation 1282B125Q0034 for Grizzly Bear Infrastructure, issued by the USDA Forest Service. The amendment includes a questions and answers document clarifying key details about a contract for providing grizzly bear-proof containers. The solicitation covers a 5-year ordering period from 08/15/2025 to 08/15/2030, with the Forest Service planning to place orders as needs arise. Contractors will be responsible for manufacturing containers and shipping replacement or defective items, while the Forest Service will arrange pickup of completed supplies after order placement. Bids are due by July 18, 2025 at 1 PM Eastern Time, and quotes should be submitted to gilbert.chonje@usda.gov. The bid schedule shows pricing per unit with estimated totals for the contract duration, and contractors have flexibility in shipping full truckloads of products during the 5-year period.
