3) Are you able to share a budget?

a. The budget/government estimate will not be shared.

4) Per the PWS under Qualifications, it states:

The contractor must provide written or electronic documentation showing the specialists performing work under this PWS are individuals that have certified training and/or documented experience in calibration of the pipettes and other identified equipment. The contractor must provide proof of familiarity that qualifies the specialist to perform the calibration procedures on pipettes to the ISO 17025 standard or related standards/expertise for other identified equipment.

Should this condition be met, would the evaluation of the proposal be impacted if:

Past Performance documentation- is NOT necessarily for a government project?

a. The evaluation of the proposal will not be impacted by past performance documentation listing services being provided to non-government institutions/industries/businesses/etc.

5) The onsite address for the job?

a. National Bio and Agro-Defense Facility 1980 Denison Ave. Manhattan, KS 66502 (Amended PWS page 3, identified in red font)

6) I see the requested ISO-17025 accredited but please confirm if they want a level 3 which is 4 As-found and As-left as data points or a level 4, which is 4 As-found and 10 As-left data points.

The level of calibration you would like quoted:

a. Level 4

7) Please provide the test point requirements for the Corning 6770.

a. Temperature, speed, timer, imbalance detection, brake function, safety lid lock test, and other tests identified by manufacturer in the user manual or contractor determines necessary/beneficial/equivalent for successful/safe general laboratory functionality.

8) Please provide the test point requirements for the Ultra Beckman Coulter Optima XE-100.

a. Temperature, speed, timer, imbalance detection, vacuum system check, rotor ID system check, brake function, safety lid lock test, and other tests identified by manufacturer in the user manual or contractor determines necessary/beneficial/equivalent for successful/safe general laboratory functionality.

9) Please provide the test point requirements for the Refrigerated Eppendorf 5910ri.

a. Temperature, speed, timer, imbalance detection, brake function, safety lid lock test, temperature uniformity, and other tests identified by manufacturer in the user manual or contractor determines necessary/beneficial/equivalent for successful/safe general laboratory functionality.

10) Please provide the test point requirements for the Thermofisher Sorvall X4RF Pro-MD.

a. Temperature, speed, timer, imbalance detection, brake function, safety lid lock test, temperature uniformity, digital display, rotor ID system, applicable run profiles, and other tests identified by manufacturer in the user manual or contractor determines necessary/beneficial/equivalent for successful/safe general laboratory functionality.

11) Please provide the test point requirements for the Thermo Scientific TSGP15D.

a. Temperature, temperature uniformity, temperature stability, timer, over-temperature safety test, heating/cooling rate, digital display, water level sensor, and other tests identified by manufacturer in the user manual or contractor determines necessary/beneficial/equivalent for successful/safe general laboratory functionality.

12) Please provide the test point requirements for the Mettler Toledo ME104TAOD.

a. Repeatability, linearity, accuracy, sensitivity, tare function, stability, digital display, provide feedback on ideal scale location, and other tests identified by manufacturer in the user manual or contractor determines necessary/beneficial/equivalent for successful/safe general laboratory functionality.

13) Please provide the test point requirements for the Atron Systems Inc BX-600+.

a. Repeatability, linearity, accuracy, sensitivity, tare function, stability, digital display, provide feedback on ideal scale location, and other tests identified by manufacturer in the user manual or contractor determines necessary/beneficial/equivalent for successful/safe general laboratory functionality.

b. Due to the weight requirements to calibrate this scale we understand adaptability might be required. Liquid might be an allowable equivalent to large weights, and the scale will primarily be used to weigh liquid. Other identified methods by contractor can be discussed and accepted.

14) Please provide the test point requirements for the Mettler Toledo SevenCompact S200.

a. Standard buffer calibration, accuracy, repeatability, temperature compensation test, stability, response time, electrode check, slope and offset, user settings verification, and other tests identified by manufacturer in the user manual or contractor determines necessary/beneficial/equivalent for successful/safe general laboratory functionality.

15) Please provide the test point requirements for the Drummond Pipet-Aid XP 2.

a. Volume accuracy, volume precision, filter/nozzle check, leakage, and other tests identified by manufacturer in the user manual or contractor determines necessary/beneficial/equivalent for successful/safe general laboratory functionality.

16) Please provide the test point requirements for the pipettes (2 volumes or 3 volumes).

a. 3 volumes is preferred.

17) For the other non-pipette equipment, do you require ISO 17025 Accredited Services?

a. No for other non-pipette equipment we do not require ISO 17025 Accredited Services, however we would still want adequate calibration/or equivalent documentation provided upon completion of services.
