Solicitation # 12805B24Q0186

Subject Requirement: Glyphosate Aptamer

AMENDMENT 2

Industry Questions:

Question: We’re assuming that glyphosate is not naturally occurring so can we use potato cell lysate as the counter when it hasn’t been treated? This would cover off other potential cross-reacting agents other than the genome itself.

Answer: Glyphosate is a chemical in roundup herbicide. As using cell lysate, yes, but it cannot react with potato genome DNA. We can supply potato cell lysate.

Question: Do you have a specific use for the aptamer e.g., ELISA, biosensor, or therapeutics?

Answer: qPCR detection

Question: When would you need the aptamer available for use in your labs?

Answer: Delivery Date is 11/01/24

Question: As it is an RFQ do you have a timeframe the decision will be made?

Answer: We intend to decide shortly after receipt of quotes

Question: Can I assume the use and purchasing is within the USA?

Answer: Yes

Question: What quantity do you need? Micrograms?

Answer: Micrograms would suffice.

Question: Do you need any 3’ or 5’ modifications?

Answer: No, as long as there is NO interference with potato genome

Question: What is your IP stance? Is it an issue if we own the end sequence and provide a research use only license?

Answer: If there are any license limitations, please indicate so in your proposal.

No additional questions will be answered prior to receipt of proposals. Any limitations or assumptions should be included in your proposal.
