Questions & Answers

Questions:

1. The Work Statement describes the majority of the training to be conducted by NBAF staff. Please confirm.

2. Please let me know if the following concepts generally matches the need. I see the training exercises happening with three main types of activities:

a. Lecture style discussion, PowerPoint, classroom work prior to live phase.

b. Hands on animal work that will occur primarily at our facility located approximately 6 miles from NBAF.

c. Proficiency testing that will be coordinated back on campus and include a blend of didactic evaluation as well as assessment of skills demonstrated.

3. With respect to a proposal, how much detail should it include? We are developing several study-style budgets around each of the specie specific needs identified. I plan to add those collective cost estimates into the rental of conference space and administration cost to come up with an overall cost estimate and use that as a bid. Will it be expected for me to share the detailed budget, specie budgets only or just an overall number.

Answers:

1. Yes – NBAF VMOs will provide the training content.

2. a. b. c. Yes, this matches the need.

3. Just an overall number will be fine.
