About this file
This document contains questions and responses regarding a renovation project for three buildings at the Jacob Lake Work Center Quarters in Kaibab National Forest, Arizona. The renovation will include replacing windows with larger single panes, removing and disposing of existing gutters and downspouts, installing a standard fiberglass front door and hardware at each building, fully sheathing and installing R-38 insulation for roofs on all three buildings, and matching existing standing seam metal roofing. The Forest Service will occupy the site during construction from late April through October. The contractor will be responsible for HVAC sizing and layout approval, and lead-based paint and asbestos will be addressed through change orders if discovered. Interior floor plans are the same for all three buildings.
