About this file
This document is a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the procurement of concrete by the Santa Fe National Forest (SFNF), part of the U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service Region 3 - Southwestern Region.
The RFQ seeks to purchase 80 cubic yards of concrete that must meet specific requirements, including the use of Portland cement, air entrainment, and a minimum 28-day strength of 3500 psi. The concrete must also contain a retardant to delay the setting process and improve workability. The concrete is to be delivered to a location about a 1-hour drive from Las Vegas, NM, and the contractor must pump the concrete into fabric bags supplied by the SFNF.
This is a 100% small business set-aside procurement with a NAICS code of 327320 and a Product Service Code of 3630. Offers are due by August 23, 2024, at 3:00 PM MDT, and the performance period is expected to begin around August 26, 2024. The award will be made based on the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) evaluation process.
