About this file

This document is a detailed Cleaning Schedule for Janitorial Services at the Descanso Ranger District Office in Cleveland National Forest, part of the USDA Forest Service Pacific Southwest Region. The cleaning services are comprehensively outlined across four service frequency levels: daily, quarterly, semi-annually, and annually, with specific performance objectives and required results for each area including lobbies, restrooms, hard surface floors, windows, vents, waste containers, kitchenettes, and other office spaces. The contract covers a base year from 10/1/2025 to 9/30/2026 with four potential option years extending through 9/30/2030, for a approximately 3,000 square foot facility with 13 offices, 22 desk areas, two restrooms, a conference room, and a mailroom.

Key performance requirements include maintaining all surfaces free of dirt, dust, debris, and stains; sanitizing restrooms and fixtures; replenishing supplies; cleaning windows and blinds; removing cobwebs; and ensuring all areas meet specific cleanliness standards. The government will conduct rigorous quality assurance inspections, with 25% of daily cleaning, 50% of weekly cleaning, and 100% of quarterly, semi-annual, and annual cleaning to be inspected. Deductions can be applied for non-compliance, with major deficiencies defined as 20%+ of work in a category not meeting specifications. The contractor must use environmentally preferable products and comply with federal procurement guidelines, and cleaning is to be performed primarily between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Wednesdays and weekends.
