5. Does this system require any AC circuits or wiring? This is a DC power building
6. I would like to request an extension to the RFQ Due Date? No, with the timeline required to manufacture and meet the installation window of June 2022 we cannot see any additional delays to this project.
1. Will lights be required in this installation? Yes provide (1) 12VDC light installed on ceiling near center of shelter include light switch located next to door
2. What size battery bank is expected, how many amp hours or capacity. The battery bank will be made up of (2) Rolls S6-275AGM batteries and will be installed in the rack mounted battery tray. Batteries will be provide and installed by customer

5. You stated the existing shelter has a foundation with 4 poured concrete footings (sonotubes) which were placed and poured by the Forest Blaster greater than 15 years ago. The new shelter spec calls for no permanent foundations, are we to remove the existing foundation or abandon in place? The existing concrete foundation can be abandoned in place.
6. Will you be publicly posting all questions asked on this RFQ? Yes
7. In your answer to my previous question you state a “timeline required to manufacture and meet the installation window of June 2022”. The RFQ states “FOB Destination – The vendor shall be capable of procuring and delivering the equipment listed in the BOM by 30 September 2023.” Can you clarify this projects period of performance? The current plan is to install in June or July of 2022 or 2023 due to expected weather constraints in the area.
Attached are two photos of Twin Peaks from the air in 2021. I have also included photos from 2014, though there has been cleanup done at the site since then, to include the removal of the 15’ Sinclair shelter.
The site is on a very remote Alaskan peak, with a mix of granite boulders and peat soil with low scrub brush. There is no overland access to the site, it is helicopter only.
I do not have a drawing for the existing 4’x6’ Vertex shelter. However, the foundation is 4 poured concrete footings (sonotubes) which were placed and poured by the Forest Blaster greater than 15 years ago.
