RFP QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

01/06/2020

1. Question: Is this project for small businesses only to bid on?

Answer: This is a 100% small business set-aside. See Block 10 of the RFP and 52.219-6 (page 17).

2. Question: Is the USDA furnishing the chemicals for the job?

Answer: The government is providing the Delta Dust and Fipronil. See page 17, clause I.4 of the

RFP.

3. Question: Does the proposal require one application per year or several? The label is three applications for fipronil grain and five for delta dust.

Answer: We only do one application per year for either treatment in a given area as specified in each task order.

4. Question: When completing the 3rd page of the IDIQ, Items, Unit of issue, Estimated Quantity, Unit Price, Total Price; the information says that the first base year is 4,250 acres, are we supposed to change the Estimated Quantity (10,000) to what is listed in the information (4,250) or to the Area 1 number 4,144 and Area 2?

Answer: For the IDIQ, please leave the quantity at 10,000 and insert your price per acre that will be used on the first and all task orders each year. The quantities you are referring to are in the initial task orders for this year. There may be additional task orders later in the year. You will also need to insert per acre prices for all 5 years as well.
