About this file
This document is a Brand Name Justification form from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), specifically for the Animal Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Veterinary Services (VS), National Veterinary Services Laboratories (NVSL). The justification seeks to procure a ChemiDoc Go Imaging System with specific requirements, including the ability to run without a computer, LED excitation capabilities, multiple data output formats, and compatibility with Stain-Free Gels. After conducting market research across government and non-government sources, the agency determined that only the ChemiDoc Go Imaging System meets all their technical specifications. The recommended source is small business distributors of Bio-Rad Laboratories, Inc., and the procurement is being processed under Federal Acquisition Regulation 13.106-l(b)(l) for simplified acquisitions.
