1_Q The solicitation states that it wants “ janitorial services 2x per week and cleaning services bi-weekly” but the solicitation doesn’t state the difference between the janitorial and the cleaning which is necessary for accurate pricing.

CONTRACT # 12639520C0054
Start Date 08/10/2020 End Date 07/31/2024
Company Name: Reliance Contractors Inc.
SAM UEI NW6STGAALU25 CAGE Code: 78VL8
Total Price: $ 27,360.00 ($ 570.00/mo x 12mo x 4yrs )
3_Q Would cleaning day be moved to the following day if a holiday falls on the regularly scheduled cleaning?
3_A Yes, cleaning day would be moved to the following day if the holiday falls on regularly scheduled cleaning. We prefer cleaning be regularly scheduled for Tues and Thur for the reason that more often the holiday falls on Monday or Friday and this would reduce the number of instances where we would need to make that change for a holiday. We can also be somewhat flexible on this if need be. However, cleaning needs to be done when the office is open so that we can grant access, and this is usually not a problem working around cleaning staff because normally our staff Is out working in the field.
4_Q Does the prime need to carry insurance?
4_A No, There’s no insurance provision for this requirement. However the solicitation and contract contain the following clause:
52.237-2 Protection of Government Buildings, Equipment, and Vegetation. (APR 1984) The Contractor shall use reasonable care to avoid damaging existing buildings, equipment, and vegetation on the Government installation. If the Contractor’s failure to use reasonable care causes damage to any of this property, the Contractor shall replace or repair the damage at no expense to the Government as the Contracting Officer directs. If the Contractor fails or refuses to make such repair or replacement, the Contractor shall be liable for the cost, which may be deducted from the contract price.(End of clause)
5_Q Will we need to submit a quality assurance plan with the proposal?
5_A There is no requirement for a quality assurance plan for this solicitation or contract
