1 Acre Del Rio

The first thing I need some clarification on is the proposed ditch. Is there any available topo data on the site? See amendment 2.

I see in the Q&A that the intention is for the flowline of the ditch to be 1.5' below grade on the upstream end and lose .5' in elevation over the course of 400+ LF resulting in a flowline 2' below grade at the downstream end. This seems to imply that the natural grade of the site is essentially totally flat. In other words, if there is a natural high spot between the start and end of the ditch then it would seem that the excavation required could exceed 2' in places. There’s at least a 3’ fall from west to east.

Will the ditch be adjacent to any existing fences/walls? Yes. If so, how far from the centerline of ditch to fence/wall? 4’ to 5’ from centerline to wall or fence.

What is to be done with the spoils from the ditch excavation? Can they be spread on site? Yes.

After the site is graded, what are the compaction requirements for the sub-base, as well as the base material in regard to equipment and testing? It needs to be compacted to support standard vehicles and skid steer. If density testing is required will this be at the expense of the owner or the contractor? Density testing is not required.

What is the proposed diameter of the 20 LF RCP culvert? 18”.

Do the fence posts need to be set in concrete? Yes. If so, is standard bag mix concrete acceptable? Yes. How deep do they need to be set? Cement posts no less than 3’. Spacing between posts? 15’ and three tee posts 5’ apart.
