The following are questions that have been received to date 05/06/2020.
All questions will be posted with answers accordingly.
Q. 24 hours is a tight advance notification especially that this is for Trilingual (ASL<>English/Spanish). Will USDA consider revising the advance notification?
A. . This has always been the amount of time that has been allowed in given for additional services, requested by other companies’ in the past. However, if any additional services are needed, they will be known before the 24 notice. Additional services are always scheduled well in advance.
Q. This is in another words, cancellation of assignment. Some Interpreters have 48 hours cancellation notice, few have 24 hours cancellation notice, otherwise, we would have to pay their scheduled services. Will USDA consider revising the advance notification for absence?
A. This has been the amount of time of time given in the past and also requested by previous company’s, if there are any training or other meetings cancelled also will be cancelled within if not more than the 48 hours’ notice. The only foreseeable issue with this is that the person calls in sick on any given day which cannot be scheduled.
