1. In your RFQ, you listed a total of 200,000 plastic bags between the 2 sizes (9” x 18” and 6” x 12”). Should we assume that the quantity will be evenly divided between these 2 sizes:

1. 100,000 pcs for the 9” x 18” bags, 2000 cases per year

1. 100,000 pcs for the 6” x 12” bags , 2000 cases per year

Answer: Quantity 200,000 is for each size.

1. Regarding the SF-1499, is SF-1499 the RFQ document with the price line table? Do you want us to send in the entire RFQ document with our signature or just the price line portion? Could you please kindly send us the SF-1499 form if it is a separate document that we need to sign.

Answer: The SF-1449 is the first page of the RFQ. The SF-1449 will need to be signed and the pricing completed on pages 2-3. Please review instructions on page 18.

3. Are you able to send us the previous bid tabulation for the items on this solicitation?

Answer: Base Year Pricing:

Brown Kraft Envelopes – 2 ½” W x 4 ¼” H – 500 ea per package @ $27.75
Brown Kraft Envelopes – 3 ½” W x 5” H – 500 ea per package @ N/A
Spear Envelopes – 4 ½” W x 7” H = 500 ea per package @ $82.95
Polyethylene Bags – 9”W x 18”H 6 mil – 500 ea per package @ $103.00
Polyethylene Bags – 6”W x 12” H 6 mil – 500 ea per package @ $75.00

4. Was wondering if it is possible to quote without freight as there is no way to determine what costs would be since we don’t know how many will be going to what locations. Also since it is for 5 years, the fuel prices, etc. can drastically change. I believe we can save you money by quoting only the product and then charging ONLY what it costs to ship to the actual locations.

Answer: The quote should include shipping in the price. If shipping is not included in the price, please not that on the quote.

The Program office suggested that you can average the shipping cost to all the offices and then add that to the price. For the 5 years you can project a price increase for each year and note the prices for each year.
