The RFQ, solicitation number 12505B24Q0310, is issued by the Department of Agriculture Agricultural Research Service Field Research Implementation and Information Delivery Midwest Area for 30 LED Lights. The lights must be provided F.O.B. destination to a USDA site in St. Paul, MN. The acquisition is a total small business set-aside with a lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) award basis. Quotes are due by 5:00 PM Eastern Time on August 14, 2024. The question and answer clarifies that the lights must be able to be plugged into a 120V outlet that is controlled by a "Wadsworth" Greenhouse controller, but does not specify power or output requirements or control details. The summary of the RFQ indicates the required products, location, set-aside, award basis, and response deadline.

Q: This doesn’t specify what power or output they want from each light which is a really important detail.
Less important but ultimately still needed is how they want to control the lights. We’ll provide the data cables to connect lights to share the control signal based on how far apart lights are from one another and how many control groups they want
A: they are being plugged into a 120V outlet that is controlled by a "Wadsworth" Greenhouse controller
