Questions and Answers for Solicitation # 12505B23Q0152
Q: You mention four shafts. We assume this means two full screw sets including the shafts and the screw elements. Is this correct?
A: We only need basic screw elements to outfit 2 shafts – the 2 additional shafts were as back-ups.
Q: Could you tell me if the end user requires any post extrusion equipment (e.g. waterbath, pelletizer, etc.)?
A: No post-extrusion equipment needed.
Q: We also would like to know if you will be using existing feeders with the extruder, or if they should be part of this bid?
A: We will use our current feeders. No additional feeder needed.
Q: Also, is one feeder sufficient or does the end user wish to feed in pellets and powders separately (different feed ports)?
A: We do not need feeders.
Q: Can you please extend the quote submission deadline to September 8, 2023?
A: We will not extend the quote submission deadline at this time.
