Statement of Work Project: Differential Scanning Calorimeter Thermal Analyzer

GENERAL INFORMATION

1.0 Scope of Work: Acquisition of a new thermogravimetric analyzer with differential scanning calorimeter to replace an obsolete DSC822e.

2.0 Background: The DSC822e differential scanning calorimeter currently in the Agroecosystems Management Research Unit has been a productive instrument used for thermal analysis. The DSC822e is an obsolete instrument, and it has been determined the research unit should replace the instrument with a more advanced thermal analyzer with thermogravimetric capabilities, to be able to process the volume of samples we will perform analysis on.
