Solicitation 12505B22Q0033, Mobile Trailer/Laboratory, Questions
1. QUESTION: Regarding the generator on the Mobile Laboratory/Trailer referenced in the subject line, are you looking for the entire generator with the prep package or just the prep package? If you have a generator, is it possible to get the make/model/serial number?
ANSWER: We have not yet purchased the generator, but require an Inverter Generator that can produce at least 5000W.
2. QUESTION: Is there a reason you are using a building on a gooseneck?
ANSWER: We are open to non-goose neck trailers if the weight capacity can be met, and without excessive tongue weight.
3. QUESTION: Will delivery dates be longer than the 150 day ARO in the bid be evaluated? Trailer lead times alone are longer than 150 days, let alone the actual lab build time.
ANSWER: We do not expect the unit to be delivered in 150 days. Instead, we need to be sure that all funds are committed by 7-31-22. In other words, we must pay for it by that date, even though the final product will not be completed until a later date.
The Period of Performance in the contract will reflect appropriate lead times.
