About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for solicitation 12445225Q0008 regarding data and ethernet port installation at the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest Supervisor's Office in Gainesville, GA. The document contains two key questions and responses exchanged between a potential vendor and USDA Forest Service Contracting Officer Penny Zortman.

The Q&A clarifies that the project requires only low voltage work for ethernet ports, with no power requirements needed. A second question about data rack requirements was partially answered, with the Contracting Officer indicating that the COR (Travis or Julian) would provide additional information about data rack specifications within the next day. The document includes a notification of a site visit scheduled for January 21, 2025 at 9am, and questions were due by January 22, 2025 at 1pm via email to Jose Allende and Penny Zortman.

Good morning. Sorry for the delay in getting a response for your questions. People were out of the office. So to answer your questions:

1. The title of this project states "Data & Ethernet". The drawings for each room state "ethernet" and "Outlet" for power. Are there any power requirements for this project?

Or is it only low voltage? Only low voltage is needed for the Ethernet ports

2. There is no requirement about what is needed at the data rack itself. Could you clarify what is needed? In regards to the Data Rack, the COR Travis or Julian will send more info within the next day. They are researching further.
