About this file

This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) Supplement that outlines site preparation and timber stand improvement projects to be performed in the Hiawatha National Forest. The SOW provides detailed prescriptions for each project unit, including the number of acres, location information, and specific treatment requirements such as tree release, pruning, cleaning, and removal of undesirable species. The work is part of a federal contract opportunity with Solicitation Number 12444624Q0075, issued by the U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service. The projects involve a range of forest management activities across both the East and West Zones of the Hiawatha National Forest. Key objectives include improving forest health, releasing desirable tree species, and controlling invasive or diseased vegetation. No additional details about the overall contract, such as pricing, response dates, or set-asides, are provided in this SOW Supplement.
