About this file
This is a Question and Answer document for Solicitation 12444326Q0080 regarding Coronado Range Fence Materials. The document clarifies four key discrepancies identified by prospective contractors between various solicitation documents.
The document confirms that wire stays must be 42 inches in length, resolving a conflict between the Statement of Work quantity tables and the Specifications and Schedule of Items. It clarifies that the Nuts & Bolts line item (½ inch x 1½ inch) is intended for use with the braces and is separate from bolts referenced with brace angle iron posts. Regarding unloading procedures, the document states there is no guarantee that a forklift will be available at each district location; however, contractors may use their own forklift for unloading palletized materials, and liftgate/hand-unload delivery is not required. Finally, the document resolves a delivery address conflict by establishing that the Schedule of Items contains the correct delivery locations for Safford, Sierra Vista, and Santa Catalina districts, and these locations govern over the addresses shown on the SF-1449 form.

2. Bolts: please confirm whether the “Nuts & Bolts” line (½ in. x 1½ in.) is separate from the bolts referenced with the brace angle iron posts or covers them. The Nuts and Bolts are the ones for the braces
3. Unloading: please confirm whether each district can offload palletized material (forklift available), or whether liftgate/hand-unload delivery is required. There is no guarantee a forklift will be available. Contractors may use their own forklift to unload.
