2. I'm reaching out to get clarification on the solicitation documents. I noticed that you are asking for a technical proposal as well as a price proposal. Do you want both submitted?
a. Yes, we are looking for a technical proposal and a price proposal. For the price proposal all you need to do is fill out - Attachment 1 - Schedule of Items.
3. Upon reviewing the solicitation documentation, specifically the Schedule of Items attachment file, we observed a discrepancy that we hope you can clarify. The schedule indicates that the office (singular) is to be cleaned twice a week. However, the description mentions three locations: office, annex, and warehouse.
a. The statement of work describes the areas to be cleaned - To Include: Marlinton RD Administrative Office, Annex and Warehouse.
4. Furthermore, it would be greatly beneficial for our preparation if you could provide the total square footage for each of the locations (office, annex, and warehouse).
| a. Administrative Office | 3357 Square Feet | ||
| Annex | 1440 Square Feet | ||
| Warehouse | 488 Square Feet |
Per the SOW, the warehouse is only for the entry way, two bathrooms and the work out room.
5. I just had a question about the schedule of items. If my company is expected to clean 16 hours a week, what does the 104 quantity mean? Cleaning twice a week for 52 weeks @ 16 hours per week is a total of 832 hours.
a. Per the SOW - Total time should not exceed 16 hours per week. If the vendor cleans twice per week for 52 weeks, it will equal out to 104 cleanings. We are asking for a breakdown of pricing per cleaning, thus the 104.
6. The schedule indicates that the office (singular) is to be cleaned twice a week. However, the description mentions three locations: office, annex, and warehouse.
a. All three locations need to be cleaned (office, annex, and warehouse) per the SOW.
7. The contract "MOF Marlinton Janitorial Contract" advises interested parties to attend a site visit. However, I noticed that there is no scheduled date or time of a site visit. I was wondering if the buildings are accessible to the public or if we can set up a site visit regarding this project.
a. To set up a site visit, please reach out to Julie Mcnabb - julie.mcnabb@usda.gov.
8. Can services be performed any time during the day or are there specific times that the services are to be carried out? For instance, are there two specific days per week that the services every week that the services can be done.
a. We prefer not to have this done during working hours. The current contractor comes after hours, and we want to keep it that way.
