About this file
This document is a map and informational guide for the Hog Rock Conservation and Restoration (CTR) project area located in Virginia. The map displays three designated units (Units 1, 2, and 3) totaling 45 acres with 770 trees across the conservation area. Unit 1 comprises 19 acres with 335 trees, Unit 2 contains 19 acres with 291 trees, and Unit 3 encompasses 7 acres with 144 trees.
The document provides detailed driving directions from New Castle, Virginia, requiring approximately 16 miles of travel via State Routes 311 and 658, followed by Dicks Creek Road and Hog Rock Road to reach the access point. A quarter-mile walk from a washed-out culvert provides entry to Unit 1. The map illustrates the road network, closure status designations (including admin closure, decommissioned roads, and seasonal closures), walk-in access points, and forest land boundaries. The graphic displays topographic features, water systems, and indicates both public and private road designations throughout the conservation area. No specific contract requirements, timelines, or procurement details are provided in this document.
