The acquisition is structured as a Total Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS Code 238210 with a small business size standard of $19 million. All responsible sources may submit quotations. Key project requirements include demolition and replacement of transformers, with the contractor bearing replacement costs while coordinating with Bristol, Tennessee Essential Services (BTS) utility company. An existing pole-mounted overhead transformer near the gym will be removed per electrical drawings (Sub Sheet ED102, Note D2), with the pole remaining to route utility service to a new upsized pad-mounted transformer. Bidders must reference FAR 52.225-9 regarding Buy American construction material requirements and must bid only items as specified in the Statement of Work and Plans/Drawings without additions or substitutions.
